We are starting a new initiative: The "Buy-A-Bed" program Whispering Pines would like to upgrade all of our beds to electric, so our residents have the most modern, easy to use, style of bed available. Currently we have 68 out of 150 beds that are electric. We need another 82 electric beds to be able to provide each resident with electric versus the older crank style. We have applied for grants with this inititive, but so far have not been granted any funds. The cost of a new electric bed is $1,000.00 each. Any help through donations will be most welcome.
